A book is marked as “out of stock” when it is not available with any seller currently.
The books marked as ‘out of stock’ or ‘temporary available’ are not available for sale.
Books are shipped in packages with waterproof plastic wrap.
Usually, sellers waive off the delivery charges if you shop with them for a certain amount. Sometimes, the delivery charges are added by the sellers because certain books involve more shipping charges. For more info, please check the individual seller’s policy on shipping on the product page.
Delivery time depends on the availability of the ordered books, geographical location of the seller, delivery location and the courier partner’s services to deliver at your location.


Usually, the courier service delivering your order tries to deliver it the next business day in case you miss your delivery.
Courier services make sure the order is delivered the next business day in case the delivery is missed by the customer.
On rare occasions, if the delivery gets delayed, you will be updated through SMS or email about the new timeframe of the delivery. You can also track its status by clicking on My Orders.
Sellers usually ship orders 1-2 business days before the delivery date so that they could reach you on time. In case your order hasn’t been shipped within this time frame, please contact our customer care services so that we can look into it.

Sellers send the hardcopy of the invoice in the shipments. A softcopy is also emailed to you within 24 hours of delivery acceptance in the delivery confirmation email.

To place an order:- 1) Select the book you want to buy and check for its availability. 2) Add the book to your shop cart or just click “buy now”. 3) Choose the delivery address or “add your address”. Use the preferred payment mode and confirm the order.

Your order will get delivered on or before the delivery date shown while placing the order.

Cancellation and Return

  1. Go to My Orders.
  2. Choose the order (book(s)) you wish to return
  3. Write the details about the wrong shipment delivered.
  4. Choose request form.
You can return the order only if you are delivered the wrong shipment.
During pick-up of the wrong shipment of books, they are checked for the following conditions:

Unused: The books should be in the best condition as delivered. The pages should not be tampered with.

Complete package: All the books that were delivered in the shipment should be there including any free or complementary book/product given.

The seller’s return policies do not support the return of book(s) ordered wrongly. You can read the respective seller’s return policy on the product page.
You can request for the order to be replaced by visiting ‘My Order’. Use the ‘Return’ option and fill out the details of the issue so that we can help to resolve it.


The ‘Save Card’ feature allows you to save your credit/debit card on your bagmybook account. This makes your transaction quick and easy.
If you have typed any incorrect details like card name, number or card expiry date, you can delete the card by selecting ‘Remove this card’. You can now add the card again with correct details.
You can save up to 5 cards using the ‘Save Card’ option.
Yes, by simply clicking on ‘Remove this card’ in my saved cards option.
Cash on delivery or (C.O.D.) allows you to make the payment by cash on receiving the shipment. You can also pay by credit/debit card if the courier service executive carries the swiping machine with him.
Yes, you can use any credit card to make payment that is issued by a bank in India.
You can save any credit/debit VISA card, MasterCard, Maestro or American Express card issued by a bank in India.
You can use any mode of payment-credit/debit card or net banking that is convenient to you.
